Advanced Motivational Interviewing for Adolescents, Cohorts 14 and 15

This capstone training provides an opportunity to clarify MI-A concepts, learn about integrating MI-A skills with other therapeutic models.  This 6 hour workshop expands on MI spirit, skills, and processes for youth and families for clinicians by identifying uses of MI-A for behavior change; understanding MI, common MI traps, and MI alternatives; describing and practicing MI technical skills; identifying difficult situations, and examining case studies. Advanced techniques are examined and practiced.
